Sony Music Australia is preparing the classic Mi-Sex 1979 debut `Graffiti Crimes` for a re-release.
New Zealand band Mi-Sex first hit the Australian charts with the single ‘But You Don’t Care’ and then released the ‘Graffiti Crimes’. Soon after the album’s release, they recorded ‘Computer Games’. The song went to number one in Australia in 1980 and was later added to the album.Mi-Sex recorded four albums before breaking up in 1984. They never had the chance to reform. In November 1991, singer Steve Gilpin was involved in a car accident in Queensland. He lapsed into a coma but died in January, 1992.
Mi-Sex 'Graffiti Crimes' will be released tomorrow (June 22).
