Scheduled to coincide with the Scottish commemoration of The Battle of Boyne, The Battle of Bon will see a barrage of bagpipers belting out the bagpipe bit in AC/DC’s ‘It’s A Long Way To The Top’ and YOU are required.
When I say “you” are required, this applies to you more if you know how to play the bagpipes. You see, the Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be band are looking for people to help make this the largest gathering of bagpipers Fed Square has ever seen.
If, however, you’re a “rockin’” bagpipe player, you’ll be invited to perform in ‘Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be - The Story of Bon Scott’ at the Athenaeum Theatre from July 12 - 24.
Sound like something you’d be keen on doing? Well all you have to do is get your bagpiping arse to Fed Square at 11:30am, on Tuesday, July 12 with your pipes and as an added incentive, if you come dressed in a kilt, you’ll get a free double pass to the show. There you’ll play along with Nick Barker and Doug Parkinson, as well as the band for your chance to be a part of the show.
What’s this all about anyway?
Well, head on over to www.hellaintabadplacetobe.com.au for all the information you need on the show.
