The biggest selling music title next week in Australia will be Andre Rieu `Live In Australia’.
The title has had a staggering 120,000 orders from stores, surpassing the previous fastest uptake for a DVD since AC/DC ‘Family Jewels’.“I’m simply staggered!” said Andr?? in a statement. “The people of Australia opened their hearts to my music and made me feel so welcome. Andre Rieu has been the sales phenonomen of 2008 in Australia. He has had the number one DVD for 44 weeks of this year. At one stage he had 9 titles in the Top 10 DVD chart. He has 15 out of 20 titles in the classical Top 10.
‘Live In Australia’ was only filmed three weeks ago in Melbourne.
This week, ‘Live In Australia’ will outsell the current powerhouse titles from Pink ‘Funhouse’ and Kings Of Leon ‘Only By The Night’.
