The next AC/DC collectible will be trading cards.
Press Pass, Inc., best known for their NASCAR collectibles, has announced they will be issuing a set of AC/DC trading cards in November.
According to their website:
* 100 Card Base Set takes you on a journey from their Austalian beginnings through the recent Black Ice Tour.
* Subsets include It's a Long Way to the Top, Back in Black, Thunderstruck, and Rock 'N Roll Train.
* Foil Inserts: We Salute You and On The Highway to...
* Autographed Memorabilia!
* All of the extras like the foil inserts and the autographed items randomly inserted in some packs duplicates the "chase" card phenomenon that has been in sports cards for about twenty years.
Musician trading cards have been around since the sixties when there were popular sets for the Beatles and the Monkees. Press Pass also has released a set of cards for Kiss.
