Don’t fear. Waits is not about to put on a space suit and fly to the moon (although if you’ve ever seen him interviewed you would think he was already there). N.A.S.A. actually stands for North America/South America.N.A.S.A. is Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zegon. The pair drop Brazilian beats over their star collaborations.
Tom Waits gets to growl over Kool Keith on the album ‘The Spirit Of Apollo’.
The album also features David Byrne, Chuck D and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
The first single is the David Byrne/Chuck D. collaboration ‘Money’
The Spirit of Apollo album will be released in February, 2009.
