Former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon is working with Pete Doherty in what promises to be an entertaining collaboration, if nothing else.
According to an interview with Babyshambles drummer Adam Ficek on London’s XFM, the couple are collaborating on Doherty’s upcoming solo album.“It's not just musical with Graham,” Ficek said on air. “It's this whole sonic environment he creates and that's what has brought a really special edge to Peter's solo album, it's really interesting.”
Coxon will be playing guitar on a number of tracks and Ficek will be the drummer. The album is expected to be out next year.
