The Modfather himself, former Jam and Style Council front man Mr. Paul Weller, is finally returning to Australia for the first time in twenty-odd years.
Weller, who is about to release his ninth solo album, '22 Dreams' (through Shock) was a key player in the 1970s mod revival and in the 80s took pop to a whole new level.Despite playing stadiums in his native England, Weller is relatively unknown here, which could explain why he hasn't toured for so long.
For those of you unfamiliar with Weller's name, aside from an amazing collection of solo songs, his hits in previous bands have included 'Eaton Rifles', 'A Town Called Malice', 'You're The Best Thing', 'Shout To The Top' and 'Going Underground'.
Tickets are on sale Tuesday, May 27.
