Tops to see Hobart alongside Sydney and Melbourne as recipients of a big rock n roll treat. Paul Collins of The Beat will return to Australia in May 2012 for a special series of shows, "An Evening with Paul Collins: The Man with The Beat"
Not many sleeps, so you better get in quick for tix! And thats not all....A special four-track EP, mostly recorded in Australia, will be available as a ticketing bonus to all pre-sales for the shows (first 50 internet ticket buyers in each city).
The one off series of gigs will begin with some acoustic tunes and an intimate retelling of stories about Collins’ times in the scene and on the road. Using inspiration from his humour-filled fictional autobiography,8 Million Stories: Pete The Fly, the start of the show is a revealing look at the man behind the American Beat.
Collins will then be joined by his band to shake it and rock ya'll, armed with the classic tunes that have gotten under the skin of the world.
