Radiohead aren't planning on repeating their experimental album release again, according to singer Thom Yorke.
"Yes. It was a one-off in terms of a story. It was one of those things where we were in the position of everyone asking us what we were going to do. I don't think it would have the same significance now anyway, if we chose to give something away again. It was a moment in time," Yorke told the Hollywood Reporter. For those of you who don't remember, Radiohead offered their latest album 'In Rainbows' to the public for whatever they chose to pay for it, and if they chose to pay $0.00, then that was ok too.
The band and management, however, kept tight lipped about the project's success, leaving people to speculate with no real evidence.
When the album was eventually released on CD, the band found themselves at the top of the charts all around the world.
