Diddy has escaped charging over a physical altercation with another man in a New York nightclub.
Steven Acevado accused the hip-hop impresario of hitting him twice at the Kiosk club on October 13.Diddy's lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, said at the time, "We are hopeful that this matter will be resolved without the filing of any criminal charges as this was a disagreement among acquaintances, not a criminal assault."
He got his wish, with the local district attorney deciding there weren't sufficient grounds for the pressing of any charges.
Brafman told gossip site TMZ.com, "I've been informed by the Manhattan District Attorney's office that after a thorough investigation, they have made a decision not to authorise any arrests in connection with the incident involving Mr. Combs and Steven Acevado on October 13."
