Georgian rock 'n' roll legends the Black Crowes are due to release their first album of new studio material in seven years in March.
The album, entitled 'Warpaint', will be the first release on the band's newly formed Silver Arrow Records and will be distributed by Megaforce, Red and SonyBMG.The album features eleven songs, ten of which were written by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson and a cover of the Reverend Charlie Jackson's 'God's Got It'.
The "most rock 'n' roll rock 'n' roll band in the world" is guaranteed to bring their soulful blues infused rock groove to the masses once again and will follow it up with a world tour.
So far the band have confirmed dates in Australia (Byron Bay Blues Festival) on March 24, followed by their first Australian tour since 1991 which will take them to April 5 (see Black Crowes Australian tour story), followed by dates in Japan and Germany.
'Warpaint' will be released on March 4.
