Radio rock heroes Snow Patrol sneak out new single ‘Called Out In The Dark’ from their forthcoming sixth album.
Snow Patrol haven’t released new music since 2009, and even that UK triple-platinum album, Up To Now, was mostly a Greatest Hits album.
The Irish hitmakers finally finished off their sixth album with longtime producing buddy Garrett ‘Jacknife’ Lee in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles.
There isn’t a release date for the album yet, but as a teaser the band will be delivering the first single ‘Called Out In The Dark’ to radio on August 8.
It’s a jaunty, new wave track and a bit of a departure from their usually heart-clutching radio rock.
‘Called Out In The Dark’ will be officially released on August 19 but have a listen below.
