Beyonce Knowles has asked fans to bring a tin of imperishable food to an upcoming gig of hers in Atlanta, GA to donate to the starving communities of America.
There will be volunteers at all six entrances to the Phillips Arena on July 20 to collect cans of food which will then be distributed with the help of Pastor Rudy Rasmus and America's Second Harvest to the people of Atlanta.The first 1000 donations will receive an autographed photo of Beyonce and a raffle ticket to have two concert tickets upgraded. (What happens if you're front row centre, I don't know.)
In America, hunger affects more than 12 million children and 33 million Americans in total.
So just a reminder, this is TONIGHT (Friday 20 July). If you're going to her show in Atlanta, bring something along and help someone out.
