We're celebrating the life of CHAZZ HADDON, enigmatic front man of OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL who sadly took his own life on Friday 20th August 2010 shortly after the bands performance at Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival. This extremely sad news has shocked friends and family and rocked the music industry due to Chazz's outgoing personality and the band's popularity. The World has lost a truly great man.
At this dark time, OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL and friends have rallied around to present CHAZZSTOCK, an evening put on by friends and family to celebrate his life and achievements. The line up consists of many of the bands friends who will each cover a track from OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL'S forthcoming album THE GOLDEN YEAR followed by some of their own music. With some serious heavyweights already confirmed on the bill, CHAZZSTOCK is already looking more like a festival than a gig.One of the band's most vocal supporters EDDY TEMPLE MORRIS (XFM) will be hosting the event. He will be joined on the decks by KISSY SELL OUT (RADIO 1) alongside performances from THE KOOKS, MR HUDSON, MAN LIKE ME, NAT JENKINS, MPHO, TRIBES, DAISY DARES YOU, JAY JAY PISTOLET and many more still TBC. All proceeds will go to MIND the UK's leading charity for Mental Health support who work towards improve the quality of life of people who experience mental or emotional distress.
