Australian punk heroes The Saints will re-release their first three albums on Saturday July 7 - again - to celebrate the reunion of songwriters Ed Kuepper and Chris Bailey in Brisbane next month.
The band formed in 1973 and had their first success with the independently released single 'I'm Stranded', which at the time was referred to as "the best single of this week, and every week" by U.K. music rag 'Sounds'.In August 2004 the band's three albums were re-released in a box set together with an album recorded live in London in 1977 called 'All Times Through Paradise'.
The band will play at the Queensland Music Festival in Brisbane on July 14 for the first time since 1978 with both Ed Keupper and Chris Bailey in the band (not counting their induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1998).
Tickets are still available (look for the show called "Pig City") through Ticketmaster.
