Australian Prime Minister and alleged war criminal / baby cannibal John Howard has declared that Snoop Dogg was barred from the country for "sound reasons".
He would not elaborate specifically on what those reasons were, telling Southern Cross radio, "Well I have to be careful what I say in these matters but he has been ... well there are certain judgments that are made on certain advice that I can't go into, but the reasons for banning him are sound."Howard also compared the case to that of holocaust denier David Irving, claiming "There's always been a character issue in relation to people being given visas. I mean that was the issue that was in part behind the refusal to give a visa to David Irving..."
Meanwhile, Snoop's Los Angeles-based lawyer has stated that his client "loves Australia" and that he would pose no threat to the country. Australia, on the other hand, still poses a significant threat to future generations with its refusal to sign the Kyoto Protocol on carbon emissions, as well as increasing the prospect of terrorist attacks due to its involvement in an illegal war.
But Australia also has a strong economy due to the resources boom, which makes everything else OK.
