Former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale is finally beginning work on his first solo album, years after the demise of his former band.
Producer for the record will be the legendary Bob Rock, who has worked with Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' Roses and famously changed Metallica from a popular thrash metal band to a multi million selling musical juggernaut.The album will be recorded in Los Angeles and Hawaii.
Fans who want a taste of what is to come can check out the new TV series 'Drive' on Fox. Rossdale recorded the theme song, and it will appear on his album.
Rossdale formed the band 'Institute', which released one album in 2005 - 'Distort Yourself'. Bush's last album 'Garden State' in 2001.
