One of Australia's most popular live bands Mi-Sex have been given a digital touch-up by Sony-BMG.
For the first time in a long time, the hits of Mi-Sex are back in store on 'The Essential Mi-Sex'.Mi-Sex had 8 Top 40 hits in Australia between 1979 and 1984.
Their biggest hit was the disco rock classic 'Computer Games' which has been remastered for the new compilation and well as remixed with a new 2007 disco version also included.
The first Mi-Sex hit was 'But You Don't Care' which reached No. 25 in 1979. Their biggest album was the 1980 release 'Space Race' which made it to No. 5 on the Australian chart.
Mi-Sex was fronted by charismatic lead singer Steve Gilpin who involved in a car accident in Coolangatta in New South Wales in November 1991. He lapsed into a coma and never recovered. Gilpin died in Southport Hospital on January 6th, 1992.
