Fans of Sydney trio Philadelphia Grand Jury were left scratching their heads in November last year when the band announced on Facebook that they had broken up.
Prior to that the band had announced in March 2011 that they had abandoned work on their follow up to the 2009 debut " Hope Is For Hopers". Following questions as to why, the band released the following statement;
"Philadelphia Grand Jury are on something of a hiatus. No need to make it a bigger deal than it is. Creative individuals tend to have more than one project and Philadelphia Grand Jury is just one of Berkfinger's musical personas. Berkfinger is currently focusing on other projects, including moving his recording gear to Berlin to finish the recordings that he has been working on in the various incarnations of studios that he has built over the years."
So, now after 412 days in Germany, former Sydneysider Feelings (aka Simon Berkfinger) is ready to reveal his new single 'One in a Million'. As you read this he is putting the finishing touches on his brand new album for which he has roped in a bunch of talented buddies from his days as an indie producer.
Original drummer for Philadelphia Grand Dury and current member of Art Vs Science Dan W. Sweat will join Feelings along with David Rennick of Dappled Cities for a run of shows across Australia in September.
