Chugg Entertainment are thrilled to let ya'll know that Icelandic indie 6 piece "Of Monsters and Men" will make their Australian live debut with three shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane within the next two weeks.
The group first appeared on the international radar playing an early slot on Iceland's renowned Airwaves Festival in 2010, with critics beginning to catch on to their contagious indie pop sound.
Earlier this year, the band made their SXSW debut playing to packed houses across Austin and grabbed the attention of the rest of the world as one big band to watch in 2012.
Nylon Magazine described their performance thus, "Everyone started dancing and clapping, and the band - who had already played, oh, six shows by this point—looked just as happy as the rest of us. And that's saying something." Rolling Stone Magazine told the world to "expect them to be all over the American indie radar soon."
The band will be doing Australian shows at The Zoo in Brisbane on Wednesday 18th July, Melbourne's The Corner Hotel on Friday 20th July and Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Sunday 22nd July.

Seems to me that in order for a song to catch on quick these days it is useful to use of a chorus of people yelling "Hey" throughout the song. Previous examples have been Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros "Home" and more recently "The Lumineers" with their folky hit " Ho Hey".
Checkout the single " Little Talks" which, according to Nylon Magazine may be the catchiest song of 2012. And yes, it includes a chorus of people yelling " Hey!" throughout.
