The 2011 season for The Production Company will kick off on Wednesday evening with ‘Anything Goes’, the classic Cole Porter musical.
The Melbourne production of Anything Goes sees a return to The Production Company for Todd McKenney who starred as Peter Allen in ‘The Boy From Oz’.
Amanda Harrison is Reno, she was Elphaba in Wicked. Alex Rathgeber, also from The Boy From Oz is Billy Crocker, Christy Sullivan is Hope Harcourt, Anna Wood plays Evangeline Harcourt, Christie Whelan is Erma, Wayne Scott Kermond is Moonface Martin and John O’May is Elisha Whitney.
The story unfolds on the US American as it journeys out of New York and across the Atlantic.
‘Anything Goes’ features one of Cole Porter’s best known songs ‘I Get A Kick Out Of You’.
‘Anything Goes’ is on at the Arts Centre in Melbourne from July 20 to 24.
Other 2011 productions for The Production Company are Kismet (August 17 to 21) and Grey Gardens (November 24 to December 4).
