BRIT-winning, double Mercury-nominated nu-folkie Laura Marling announces her forthcoming album A Creature I Don’t Know.
It’s the third album, following up the acclaimed Alas, I Cannot Swim in 2008 and last year’s I Speak Because I Can, which were both nominated for Britain’s esteemed Mercury Prize.
She also just won the BRIT Award for best female artist and the NME Award for best solo artist.
Like I Speak Because I Can, A Creature I Don’t Know was produced by Ethan Johns, who has worked on albums with Kings Of Leon, Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne and Emmylou Harris.
The ethereal singer will showcase her new songs at UK summer festivals and is doing a Highlands tour in the UK of Northern towns.
A Creature I Don’t Know will be released on Virgin on September 8.
