Chart-topping Canadian rapper Drake delivers details on album number two and drops a moody jam.
The ultra-sensitive Lil Wayne protege, whose debut Thank Me Later topped the US charts last year, has announced his second album, tenderly titled Take Care.
He declared on the October’s Very Own blog that Take Care will be released on October 24, with a new single from the album coming in July.
It’s been almost exactly a year since he released Thank Me Later, which debuted at number one in the US and went platinum.
Artists and producers rumoured to be working on Take Care include TLC’s T-Boz and Chilli, Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip and DJ Premier.
In the meantime, he gives us a taste of the mournful, moody ‘Marvin’s Room’, which is downloadable from a link on the blog here.
