Loverboy are back with a brand new song.
Heartbreaker was recorded with their original engineer, Bob Rock, at Bryan Adams' Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, BC. Since his days with Loverboy, Rock went on to produce artists like Metallica, Aerosmith, the Cure and Bon Jovi.
Rock was actually the impetus that brought Loverboy members Mike Reno and Paul Dean back together in the studio. Dean said "Bob just called Mike and me one day out of the blue and mentioned he had a song that might work for us which he’d love to produce. He sent it over and we just flipped out. It’s a great, kick-ass Loverboy song. It was a great experience. I think this song is one of the best things we’ve ever done."
