In a preview of their From The Basement session, Radiohead post video of them performing a new song.
As a warm up for the BBC live performance program From The Basement, the band have released part of the show where they perform a new song, ‘Staircase’.
The band are set to play the entirety of their new album The King Of Limbs on the show, which will air on July 1 on the BBC.
Thom and the boys look pretty animated playing the previously unheard song, and are joined by Clive Deamer, who has played drums for Portishead and Robert Plant.
Their own drummer Philip Selway posted the clip online, writing: “Clive has long been one of my favourite drummers and so I was really excited when he agreed to perform with us.”
They conclude the track in the preview by agreeing that they “fairly nailed” it.
The 55-minute show Radiohead Live From The Basement: The King Of Limbs will also include backstage footage and other non-album tracks.
