In a recent interview with NME Ozzy Osbourne has talked about Black Sabbaths creative output and hinted a title for the new recordings.
Despite touring cancellations due to Tony Iommi's cancer diagnosis and Bill Wards non presence, Black Sabbath are powering creatively. Ozzy Osbourne spoke to NME and verified the following "We've written about 15 songs so far, whether they'll get on an album [I don't know]… You just keep on writing. I was trying to [work out]: where would we be now musically if we'd have stayed together? "
Interestingly the impetus for the direction of new songs was suggested by producer Rick Rubin, as Geezer Butler tells it, "He sat us down, put the first album on and said " Listen to this " , then imagine it's 1969, you've just done that, what would you do next?"
