UK based Adelaide singer Sia Furler has recorded a duet for the forthcoming solo album from George's Katie Noonan.
Sia, best known for her vocals with Zero 7, is also the niece of Men At Work's Colin Hay.Katie Noonan has been working on her solo album while George is on hiatus. While George has not officially broken up, the band is "on an extended break to concentrate on other things". For Katie, that is not only the solo record but also being mum to son Dexter and wife to hubby Isaac.
Sia last year recorded a cover of Radiohead's 'Paranoid Android' for the Radiohead tribute album 'Exit Music: Songs With Radio Heads" which has been suggested for the BBC6 40 Best Covers of All-Time countdown on January 26th.
Her song 'Sunday' was also recently featured in an episode of 'Grey's Anatomy'.
Sia is also planning to record her third solo album this year.
