Singer Conor Oberst has decided to revive his band Bright Eyes for their first album in four years.
In the meantime, Oberst has been concentrating on his solo career, releasing three albums under his own name, with the exception of the track ‘Coyote Song’, which Bright Eyes recorded to boycott Arizona’s immigration laws.
The band’s next album will be called ‘The People’s Key’ and will hit stores in February. It will feature guest spots from members of Cursive, The Faint and The Mynabirds to name a few.
The album was produced by Mike Nogis, who is also now a permanent member of the band.
According to Pitchfork, the track listing will be:
