Jackson and Harrison Freud will perform in honour of their father James Freud at ‘Vote Serge-The Concert’ in Melbourne this week.
In an interview with Nui Te Koha from the Sunday Herald Sun, the sons of the late James confirmed they would go ahead with their plans to play at the concert for Serge that was originally planned on being a trio with their dad.
James Freud, the singer for the Models, took his own life on November 4.
Last week, Serge Thomann told Undercover he wasn’t sure if the Freud’s would go ahead with the show that was also going to include a performance from the Models with James Freud and Sean Kelly.
Serge Thomann is a celebrity photographer and saviour of the St Kilda triangle district. His work for the St Kilda community got him elected to the St Kilda Council and now he will run as an Independent for the state seat of Albert Park.
The concert will be held this Wednesday, November 17, at The Palace Theatre in Melbourne.
The bill includes Dale Ryder, Brett Goldsmith, The Dili All Stars, Glenn Shorrock, Kate Ceberano, Mick Harvey, Normie Rowe, Paul Gray of Wa Wa Nee, Pseudo Echo, Renee Geyer, Ross Wilson, Scott Carne from Kids In The Kitchen, Wilbur Wilde as well as the Freud boys band Attack of the Mannequins.
Tickets are $50 for general admission, $90 for the VIP Arena from Ticketek.
