Borat director plans Kanye West day in the life special for HBO.
The Hollywood Reporter spreads the word that Larry Charles - executive producer of the first two seasons of fame dramedy 'Entourage', and director of the post-Seinfeld Larry David show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and the recent 'Borat' movie - is developing a series on the crazy life of Kanye West.Charles said that he is developing the show with executive producing input from megastar producer Rick Rubin (as if he didn't already have enough on his plate) as well as West's manager G Roberson and Kanye himself.
West will be perfect fodder for a fly on the wall documentary considering the constant calamity that seems to follow him. With any luck viewers will get an inside look into the basis behind his many messianic proclamations, his onstage (and presumably offstage) tantrums and maybe the ensuing legal action between him and Evel Knievel following the 'Touch The Sky' video.
There might also be insights into the recording process of his follow-up to 'Late Registration', which has been rumoured to be titled 'Graduation' with a release date of late 2007.
