Joe Cocker and George Thorogood will head to Australia in February 2011 for a run of winery shows for A Day On The Green and a few headline shows along the east coast.
Cocker was last here in 2008 when he also headlined A Day On The Green and played a swagger of his numerous greatest hits.
This time he’ll have rock-blues legend George Thorogood in tow, which together will see an awesome night of classics.
Cocker made a name for himself in the 70s with his ‘Mad Dogs and Englishmen’ tour that nearly sent him broke due to a backing band consisting of over 40 people led by Leon Russell. The live album that resulted from that tour will forever be remembered as one of the greatest live records of all time.
