The Scare have split after just two albums and as many years.
In 2009, The Scare released their second album 'OOZEVOODOO' under the production guidance of Silverchair's Daniel Johns.The first record 'Chivalry' was released through Below Par records in 2007.
In a statement, Kiss Reid said, "It was a fun ride, it was a wild ride, at times it was a shit ride, at times you wanted it to never end type of ride. But alas all good things must come to an end, and now it's our turn."
The final round of shows for The Scare will happen in July.
