Alana Skyring, the former drummer for The Grates is the new drummer for Neil Finn’s new band Pajama Party.
As reported by Undercover in January, the reason Skyring and The Grates gave when she left the band was to pursue a career in culinary arts.
The Grates soon-after began work on their third album, due midyear with American drummer Ben Marshall. Skyring was going to study at the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan.
Finn signed with Kobalt Music Group recently and will release the debut album for The Pajama Party through Kobalt as well as the next Crowded House album.
Kobait also releases Pearl Jam, No Doubt and Art Vs Science.
