Bluesfest is about special performances. A highlight for 2010 will be Bela Fleck`s African Product featuring Oumou Sangare.
Oumou Sangare is the inspirational African singer from Mali.The combination of Oumoe with New York’s finest banjo player Bela Fleck makes for a compelling experience.
Bela Fleck for instance has 11 Grammy wins to his name, after 25 nominations. In bringing in Oumou Sangare he is giving fans a rare opportunity to see him teamed with the African diva to create some of the most remarkable music of his career.
