Guiding them in the studio for their first record with Sony was uber-producer Rick Rubin.Rubin has worked from everyone from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Metallica to Johnny Cash and Neil Diamond and you can always expect a stripped back excellence to his recent work.
Avett Brothers made their name in the US with thanks to famous fan Dave Matthews who got him some prime support gigs.
