Snoop Dogg has been labelled a police informant by hip-hop mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight.
Suge - founder of Death Row records - was hitting back at Snoop after the latter's recent comments in 'Rolling Stone' magazine. Snoop told the magazine that "the balance had shifted", and that Suge was no longer the feared powerbroker he once was.Snoop claimed he confronted Suge at the BET Awards, with the latter backing away from the face-to-face confrontation. Snoop also told the magazine that Suge had made death threats against him after he left Death Row records.
"That was the scenario when niggas knew the balance had shifted. That's when everybody felt like the floodgates was open on Suge," Snoop told Rolling Stone. "Snoop dissed him in public, and he didn't do nothing."
Now, Suge has hit back, telling the 'New York Post' that Snoop is a police informer. He claimed that this explains Snoop's talent for avoiding jail time, despite his numerous arrests.
"Snoop is a rat. He's a police informer," Suge told the tabloid. "This is the only guy who never goes to jail no matter what. I don't like rats."
When asked about the BET Awards confrontation, Suge replied, "I don't have to go around and convince people I'm tough. The only being I fear is God. Snoop has never been in a real fight. When there's trouble, he runs to the police. He throws up and starts crying."
