Eminem was the biggest selling artist of the last decade in the USA.
The superstar rapper sold 32,241,000 units in the USA, beating the Beatles who were in second place with 30,182,000 units sold.The Beatles has the biggest selling album of the decade with ‘1’ doing 11,564,000 in sales while Eminem had two of the biggest sellers of the decade with ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ at 4 with 10,216,000 units sold and ‘The Eminem Show’ at 5 with 9,818,000 sales.
Eminem is the 10th biggest selling act since SoundScan started in 1991. He has sold 35,326,000 albums.
He is also the 9th biggest selling digital artist of the SoundScan era with 17,941,000 download albums sold.
His recent ‘Relapse’ album was the 8th biggest seller of 2009.
