The death of Brittany Murphy will almost certainly be attributed to concoction of prescription drugs. It looks like Brittany died just like how Heath Ledger died.
The 8 Mile and Clueless star was using 10 different pills to treat depression and anti-anxiety.The 32-year old star died officially from a cardiac arrest on Sunday and now authorities admit there were multiple prescription pills by her bedside after her death.
Like Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson, the death of Brittany Murphy looks like the wrong combination of legal drugs.
This is becoming a Hollywood epidemic.
Many celebrities have moved from illegal substances but then use multiple pharmacists and doctors to obtain various drugs. Normally, you would have one doctor and one pharmacist who would keep track of the drugs you have been prescribed by Hollywood has discovered that by “shopping around” you can get far more than your medical entitlement.
The drugs Topamax, an anti-seizure pill, Methylprednisolone, an anti-inflammatory and Fluoetine, a drug for depression where found in the Murphy house.
Detectives also seized Klonopin and Ativan for anti-anxiety, Carbamazepine, Vicoprofen, Propranolol, Biaxin and Hydrocodone.
A leaked report states that large amounts of the drugs were found in Murphy’s room, many empty and some prescribed to her husband and her mother as well as third party names.
An official post-mortem finding may take up to 6 weeks.
