Tom Morello has promised Britain a free concert if Rage Against The Machine beat X-Facto winner Joe McElderry on the UK chart this week.
Morello told the BBC said he filly supported the Facebook campaign to block the X-Factor winner from being number one at Christmas. The X-Factor winner has been number one at Christmas for a number of years now because the show ends, the winner announced and the winner’s song is released just in time for the Christmas chart. It was enough to cause outrage enough for a few Rage Against The Machine fans to start up a Facebook page and within weeks gather up more than half a million followers.
Tom Morello told the Daily Mail, 'I don't believe it has anything to do with Simon Cowell personally. I like that guy. He's a great entertainer. He's going to do fine with his No. 2 this Christmas. What you're seeing is real democracy.'
The winner shall be revealed later today.
