Dave Grohl is the latest star to pledge his support for the Rage Against The Machine campaign.
Currently on tour in the U.K. with Them Crooked Vultures, Grohl told Rock Radio "There's some music that I question for its intention. I think when people rise up and decide, hey man, I'm sick of this, let's derail this other thing for something real. I'm all for it.“It's an incredible song and it's meaningful. Maybe people are craving something that actually means something.”
In the midweek chart, Rage Against The Machine were ahead and The Guardian reports that as of Thursday, while the Official Chart Company said the “gap had closed considerably”, Rage Against The Machine were still ahead, despite the physical release of the X-Factor winner’s single.
Rage guitarist Tom Morello told BBC6 earlier this week, “I think people are fed up of being spoon-fed some sugary ballad that sits on top of the charts. It's a little dose of anarchy.”
This is possibly the most excited I have been about Rage Against The Machine since I was 15 years old.
