Babyshambles have been working on material that is set to become their third album.
“[Guitarist] Mik [Whitnall] spent a year on eBay buying shitloads of equipment," singer Pete Doherty said in an interview with NME. “He's written loads of amazing music which mostly just needs lyrics. So, one by one, they're getting turned into songs.”He said that they had around 18 songs, with titles including: 'Stone Me What A Life', 'Cuckoo 1440', '352 Days', 'Tinker's Daughter', 'Fixing Up To Go', 'Bonjour Trieste' and 'After He'.
They haven’t booked studio time or a producer as of yet and aren’t expecting to enter the studio until next year.
