Extra-troubled rocker Pete Doherty has been arrested yet again (this was his November 18 arrest for those playing at home).
NME reports that on Saturday November 18, at 8:20 in the morning, Doherty was arrested for possession of drugs in London. He was apparently spotted driving erratically in his Jaguar with two buddies who were also arrested but were later bailed. Police slapped the cuffs on the trio are confiscated what was believed to be Doherty's drug of choice, crack cocaine.A spokesman said that they were released from Bethnal Green police station pending analysis of "substances recovered". Doherty was released on bail until December, although he is due back in court in late November for sentencing for a previous drug arrest.
It's not easy keeping up with Doherty's misadventures. Mere weeks ago he was fined £750 for kicking the microphone out of the hand of a Radio 1 reporter in March. The judge dressed him down in court for calling reporter Trudi Barber "the harassing scum of the press". But he did plead guilty in court and apologised to her.
Odd are short for how much longer Doherty can go until he's breaking rocks or ends up dead.
