The Brooklyn four-piece Grizzly Bear have revealed their new single "Yet Again" on Triple J this morning. The track is the second song and the first official single released from the band’s forthcoming album "Shields", out September 14th on Warp.
The song has already received kudos from all quarters of the world with BBC radio premiering it last night and featurred as Huw Stephens "Hottest Record in the World", Pitchfork have also weighed in on the song calling it "Best New Track."
"Yet Again" sounds as if it was recorded in the Bat Cave, there is a real feeling of expanse, the song takes off on it's own little schizophrenic journey of goodness around 4.20 but the proceeding four and a bit minutes is a little too adult contemporary and precious for my liking. Check it out for yourself below and don't forget Grizzly Bear play the Harvest Festival on the follwing dates.
