The life of Britain`s Got Talent star Paul Potts is going to be made into a movie.
Paramount Pictures is expected to announce director Julian Jarrold (Crime and Punishment, Brideshead Revisted) will take on the Potts movie.The movie will be titled ‘One Chance’ after Potts first album. It will plot his career from former mobile phone salesman to UK singing star.
Justin Zackham, writer of The Bucket List, is developing the movie script.
The chubby Potts says he would like Johnny Depp to play him.
With a Paul Potts movie in the works, it sounds like only time before a Susan Boyle movie will be underway.
38-year old Paul Potts won the first series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007. He first sang opera in a 1999 karaoke competition dressed as Pavarotti.
He has released two albums, ‘Once Chance’ in 2007 and ‘Passione’ earlier this year.
