Lock in your Splendour In The Grass dates. This year it will be held from July 29 to 31.
Splendour In The Grass is also back at last year’s venue at Woodfordia, near Woodford in south-east Queensland.
The site was damaged by the recent Queensland floods but the organisers say that it will be well and truly repaired before then. A permanent site at North Bryon Parklands is still in the process of approval.
“We wouldn’t be announcing Woodfordia as the location for the 2011 Splendour In the Grass festival if we weren’t completely confident that was the case,” said Splendour’s co-producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco.
The line-up will be announced in coming months.
Splendour In The Grass 2010 featured The Strokes, Pixies, Ben Harper, The Temper Trap, Mumford & Sons, Scissor Sisters and Florence + The Machine.
