Former lead singer of AC/DC Bon Scott's memorial plaque has been stolen from Fremantle Cemetery in Western Australia.
The plaque was taken sometime between Saturday and Sunday afternoon, just before what would've been the singers 60th birthday.Scott was found dead in his friend's car on February 19th, 1980 after a night of heavy drinking. His death certificate listed “Death by misadventure” and “Acute Alcohol Poisoning”.
He was cremated and is not actually buried at Fremantle cemetery, but there is a plaque in the ground, as well as on an adjacent bench in memory of the singer.
Scott sang on such hits as ‘It's A Long Way To The Top', ‘Jailbreak', ‘Let There Be Rock' and ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep'.
