A computer stuff-up at the Ticketmaster website is said to be the reason there is a second Sydney Big Day Out Show.
According to news.com.au, a computer glitch at ticketmaster.cam.au allowed scalpers to buy up all of the tickets from 9pm Monday before the tickets officially went of sale at 9am Tuesday.When fans logged on at 9am today (Tuesday) to buy tickets to the Sydney Big Day Out, they discovered the show had already sold out even before it went on sale.
To make amends Big Day Out organisers announced a second Sydney show for January 24 at 2pm this afternoon.
The Big Day Out line-up for 2010 is Muse, Powderfinger, Lily Allen, Eskimo Joe, Groove Armada, Grinspoon, The Mars Volta, Ladyhawke, Kasabian, Dizzee Rascal, Karnivool, Peaches, The Temper Trap, Midnight Juggernauts, Rise Against and Magic Dirt.
