The Big Day Out have added a handful of extra acts to a line-up groaning with talent.
If Tool, Rammstein, The Stooges, Lupe Fiasco, MIA, LCD Soundsystem and bucketloads more aren’t enough to get you to buy a ticket, it’s hard to think that a handful of well-to-do locals would help.
But here they are: Sia, Washington and The Vines.
Stateside indie duo Matt & Kim and the Jack White-associated Greenhornes have snuck onto the bill too.
Lilyworld also has a new list of additions, including hot US comedian Reggie Watts.
And finally, triplej Unearthed winners have been added in each state: Ball Park Music (Gold Coast), We Say Bamboulee and Lanie Lane (Sydney shows), Eagle And The Worm (Melbourne), Pagen Elypsis (Adelaide) and Split Seconds (Perth).
Three dates are effectively sold out so far. The first Sydney is done and dusted, and Melbourne and Gold Coast are offering ballots for the final tickets.
Auckland, Adelaide, Perth and the second Sydney show are still good to go.
