Here we go! The Britney-K-Fed divorce took its first turn today, with the former dancer / trucker-cap enthusiast (that'd be K-Fed) declaring he wants custody of the pair's two children.
In the divorce papers filed by Spears on Monday, the pop star applied for sole custody of one-year-old Sean Preston, and two-month-old Jayden James. Now Federline has filed papers in a Los Angeles court applying for sole custody himself. Unsurprisingly, he also asked for spousal support.Michael Sands, spokesman for Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said, "Kevin is prepared to go the distance in order to do what he feels is necessary to protect and safeguard the children and will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuit of those goals."
Website TMZ report that Spears intends to limit spousal support to a period of 12 months, as well as limiting Federline's entitlement to their $10 million Malibu estate to 20%. Still, $2 million should be more than enough for Federline to procure a lifetime supply of socks and flip-flops.
