Biuret from Seoul, South Korea has won Sutasi, the talent quest searching for the hottest, Asian contemporary talent.
The band was competing against Liu Jin from Beijing, Infinity of Sound from Seoul, Nikhil D’Souza from Mumbai, Jalebee Caretl from Delhi, Cassini’s Division from Kolkata, Jessa Mae Gibson from the Philippines, The Great Spy Experiment from Singapore and Kadangyan from the Philippines.The first live show for Biuret will take place at the One Movement for Music Festival and Conference in Perth in October.
Sutasi has been searching Asia for new talent for two years and the first season of the show aired in selected Asian countries in recent months.
The winners will co-write with international songwriters and get to record an album. Sutasi will market and promote the release internationally and produce a video for Biuret.
Also announced today was the Overall Songwriter Winner. That went to Peejay of South Korea.
